Scheduling Procedures
The physician will call Surgery Center, schedule a date and time for surgery, notify you, and meet you at Surgery Center the day of the surgery.

Pre-Admission
Surgery Center will telephone you for personal identification data. An appointment will then be made for a pre-admission visit to our facility for the required laboratory work, appropriate signatures authorizing surgery, and pre-operative patient instructions.

For The Children
Surgery Center introduces surgery through a guided tour of the facility upon request. This private tour may be conducted the same day your child is pre-admitted for surgery. Show your child the special Kid's area of our website to better prepare them for surgery!

Day of Surgery
You will be accompanied to the Holding Room where our nurses prepare you for surgery and the physician examines you. You will then be transferred to the Operating Room. When the surgery is completed, you will be taken to the Recovery Room until fully responded from your anesthesia.

After Surgery
Your physician will inform the person accompanying you as to the outcome of the procedures and your status. From Recovery, you may be taken back to the Holding Room. Before discharge, at-home instructions are reviewed by the nurse with you and your family member. Prescriptions for medications will be given and your next physician appointment scheduled.
