Surgery Center at Justice Grillin' - Tuesday, May 31, 2011
Surgery Center participated in SWLA Multiple Sclerosis Foundation's annual Justice Grillin hamburger cook-off this last May 26th. We cooked burgers for the crowds at River Ranch's Town Square.
About Justice Grillin'
Justice Grillin' Hamburger Cook-Off was created in 2001 by members of the Lafayette legal community affected by Multiple Sclerosis. The event has since expanded to incorporated donors, sponsors, cooking teams and "burger eaters" from all walks of life in Acadiana who want to help the cause.
Funds raised go to the Southwest Louisiana MS Foundation. Founded by the late Dr. Robert Martinez, funds provide direct support, education and assistance to local MS patients. Justice Grillin' is held in memory of Dr. Martinez, whose tireless and compassionate efforts helped many of those afflicted with this chronic, incurable and often debilitating disease.
